The project started out rocky, breaking a mirror isn't as easy as I thought it would be. What ended up happening was it completely shattered. Thankfully, with some help I was able to get a few big broken pieces. Then I threw it all together, I made sure to get a white frame, with a white background. I wanted it to be plain because in society it's like you have to be plain in order not to be dodged. The text was all my wording. I decided to have the first paragraph be an acceptance letter, locking you into the system. Then the second paragraph is a reminder, meaning that you tried to break free, do your own thing but society basically pulled you right back in. Then the last paragraph is a final warning, this is society showing it's true colors, meaning you have to do this or we will turn you into someone with mental problems it seems like. Then the ones who do accept society as there own tear others apart it seems like. It's such a brutal thing. The end piece just looked amazing, I showed a few of my friends outside of my art class and it gave them chills on how accurate it all was, this is when I knew I was finished and I wouldn't change a thing.
Here is your starting package. What your wearing is acceptable but not for this year. It's okay to feel beautiful but not all of you. I can almost see your bones you're halfway there. Your height is almost acceptable but we can fix that. Here is a label there is no taking it off.
Welcome to society, there is no turning back.
Reminder: Look at yourself, that's the only amount you are allowed to love. Everything else is not enough without our help.
Love Society
Final Warning:
Look at yourself, that's the only amount you are allowed to love of yourself. The rest will not be good enough for our standards.
